How to sell my house with a realtor - Call Kaye Swain using social media and so much more

Andy Arney is owner and CEO of Pelican Hauling & Junk Removal in West Roseville. I originally met him thanks to Instagram. He and I had long followed each other on Instagram (he’s at @PelicanHauling and I’m at @KayeSwain ).  I was holding an open house at Silverado Homes Roseville at Eskaton Village – one of our lovely 55+ communities. He happened to drive by my Open House sign, recognized my pink rose and told his son, “We need to go say Hello!” And so they did! It was really fun to meet and chat in real life as opposed to online.

Later, when one of my Roseville clients needed some junk hauling, I recommended him. They tried him and LOVED the work he did! AND his great prices! I’ve also used him a few times myself! And just like for my clients, he did a TERRIFIC job –  great service, great prices, and great about squishing me in with a rush job once! That was doubly awesome!

We continue to enjoy seeing and chatting via each others’ Instagram and Facebook posts – he is great at sharing his projects online! And yes! I continue to highly recommend him to my real estate clients AND to you!  He does an excellent job in a variety of ways including helping you with decluttering your home in Roseville.

As you might imagine, Andy will definitely haul your junk to the Roseville Waste Management Center (also known as the Roseville Dump.)

How to Recycle in Roseville CA

Donate to Acres of Hope ReNew stores to help with decluttering your home

BUT what if you have useable clutter that you’d like to see recycled? He feels the same way!  In fact, I was impressed to discover that his goal is to try hard to find better homes for useable items than just tossing them into our Roseville garbage. He is always on the look out for great donation opportunities.

Our Roseville Sacramento area has some great options for recycling, however many (all?) have been closed during the quarantine. Things are slowly starting to open up again and here are two great options for him and for you!

Salvation Army

Ready to add your home to the other homes for sale Roseville CA donate clutter to Salvation Army

I was happy to share with him, and now with you, that Salvation Army is once again accepting donations at various locations in Sacramento – including:

The Salvation Army Donation Trailer at Raley’s Store #447  –  4650 Natomas Blvd. – Sacramento, CA, 95835 – Donation Trailer Stationed from 11am – 6pm | 7 Days a Week | PLEASE DO NOT DROP OFF AFTER HOURS

You can also find a few more locations at https://satruck.org/DropOff/Index?zip=95747 And for more details about donating to Salvation army, check out their website at SalvationArmyUSA.org/usn/ways-to-give/ .

Acres Of Hope ReNew Stores

Another great resource to help you recycle Roseville CA that is scheduled to  re-open on June 30 are the Acres of Hope ReNew Stores located at 1725 Santa Clara Dr, Ste 170, Roseville, CA 95661.

According to their website,

“100% of the proceeds from our ReNew Boutique and Home Store support Acres of Hope. Acres of Hope provides a safe family environment and a healthy living program for women with children that sets the foundation of change and breaks the cycle of homelessness. We accept your gently used clothing, accessories, home goods, and furnishings.”

Recently, he was even nice enough to stay a bit longer and make a fun video after he had helped me with another project – and much appreciated was that help!

And guess what I just discovered! He has also been featured on our local show – Good Day Sacramento! Check this out!
