After a lovely morning at church, I headed out for lunch, before a fun afternoon showing homes for sale to a friend and real estate client. I decided to pop over to the Chipotle on Douglas and Sierra College in Roseville, CA. The Chipotle on Galleria is my usual “stomping ground.” This one was closer today so off I went. And WOW! It is in such a pretty shopping and eating center – the Renaissance Creek.
There are plenty of great choices at this location, besides the popular and delish Chipotle (I love their pinto bean burrito with steak, lettuce, pico, cheese, and just 5 drops of their uber-hot red sauce – just enough for the taste but not too much).
Among other stores and restaurants, there are Noodles and Company as well as McDonald’s, Starbucks, Jamba Juice, McDonald’s, Five Guys (I love their fries), and Jack’s Urban Eats (my next planned meal is going to be there).
As far as shopping options available, Safeway is the main grocery store, accompanied by Wells Fargo, Staples, HomeGoods, and more.
But that’s not all. There’s also a lovely stretch of protected land, woodsie brush,
and a pond/creek between the stores.
The sign there identifies it as an “Open Space Wetland Preserve” and it makes a delightful area to meander back and forth across the bridge going over it.
A very relaxing view in the midst of a busy day.
All in all, I enjoyed a delightful afternoon walk and lunch in a lovely shopping and nature center. Then headed off to visit a variety of homes for sale with my real estate client. A lovely day, indeed.
P.S. Want to give this lovely shopping center a try? The address for Chipotle is 3988 Douglas Blvd, Roseville, CA 95661. 🙂
