Between working with my wonderful real estate clients, sharing Roseville news and joys here and in local neighborhoods, helping senior parents, and enjoying grandkids, I do have fun staying very busy and that definitely makes the time fly!

This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 16, 2017. And yes, there are plenty of fun things going on in the area!

Bayside Granite Bay will be sharing the Stations of the Cross all during the week before Easter. As they explain, “experience Passion Week and the events leading up to Jesus’ death with this self-guided, contemplative experience incorporating Bible reading, meditation, prayer, and communion. Celebrate Easter with your focus on the life of Christ and the sacrifice He gave on the Cross.” This is for adults and youth 4th grade and older. I went last year with a dear friend and we enjoyed it thoroughly. It was a very impactful and special time and I’m looking forward to it again this year!  The schedule is April 11-13 from 8:00am – 8:00pm – (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday) and April 14 (Friday) from 8:00am – 10:00pm. Last year it was in the B Building. I’m guessing it will be again this year, but there should be plenty of signs and people to help us find it. 🙂

Of course, many of us will be serving up a tasty Easter brunch at home decorated for Easter and spring. A table laden with festive tableware. Bringing some of the lovely spring flowers in. And serving yummy dishes, perfect for Easter. Are you looking for new ideas? Country Living Magazine has 45 of them for us. And their Twisted Sticky Caramel-Pecan Roll is calling my name (be still my healthy-dieting heart! 😉 ).

Easter crafts for kids and grandkids

Sometimes we like to have our kids and grandkids help with the meal preparation. Other times, it may be easier to give them something to do to keep them busy while the food is cooking. Here a couple of coloring pages and ideas for those moments.

  1. Hello!

My husband & I recently opened a restaurant in Roseville. As parents of an almost 2 yr old. we understand how it can be challenging to enjoy festivities on a tight family budget. As such, on 4/15 we’re offering Free face painting & kids meals from noon-4pm! We’re trying to get the word out in the Roseville area. Thank you!!!

  2. How fun Karli – I’ll share it here and on Facebook 🙂 And I’ve heard great things about y’all – good food! 🙂
