Summer is HOT, July is ENDING, Before you know it, it will be autumn (I can’t wait!). Are ready for some fun things to do in Roseville Calif before July ends? Good! Here are some fun ideas!

VERNON STREET TOWN SQUARE THINGS TO DO

Final Downtown Tuesday Night for 2023

Downtown Tuesdays end THIS COMING TUESDAY! Southbound is a Sacramento based band who will be performing on July 25, 2023. Live Music starts at 7pm and ends at 9pm. But, of course, that’s not all! To quote the DowntownRosevilleEvents.com page, “Downtown Tuesday Night happens every Tuesday night from 5:30pm – 9:00pm, June 6th – July 25th, 2023 on Vernon St. We bring together the best live bands with the best local vendors to bring you an amazing event each week that everyone can enjoy!” There will be cool cars to see, a kids’ zone for fun play, and delish food vendors!

Peddlers in the Square

Peddlers in the Square will be in the Vernon St Town Square, 311 Vernon St., Roseville CA on Saturday July 29 from 8am – 2pm – a gathering of unique vendors / crafters, not to mention food and music, and I’ve even heard there may be huge outdoor games to enjoy with friends, family, and neighbors!

SNAKE-Y THINGS TO DO IN ROSEVILLE CA

You can make a fun family day of it by visiting @TheGrounds – Placer Fair Grounds for the Reptilian Nation Expo! It will apparently fill the Roebbelen Center (Entire) with thousands of Reptiles, Amphibians, Arachnids, Isopods, supplies, and more! 100,000 + SQUARE FEET -TONS OF VENDORS!! Enclosures, Supplies, Food and More!! WOWWWWWWW!!!!

Here’s a video made by an attendee to last year’s show to give you an idea of what it might be like. I would imagine about half my grandkids would LOVE this and the other half would be with me as we head in a different direction (I do love lizards, but snakes and mice – not so much!)

I have to confess, THESE are MY kind of reptiles – cute and they run faster from me than vice versa 😊!

One of the things KCRA has compiled there is a County by County list of various resources per county – I would imagine much of this is useful for a variety of emergencies including fires!

Thanks to this resource, I just signed up for CalFire alerts of large fires within 25 miles (but since they are unlikely to pose a major risk where I live, I did make it a silent notification.) I also got the closest local National Weather Service radio station for “Keeping informed when you’ve lost power and cellphone service.”

Can you believe how fast this summer is flying! Of course, it always flies for me especially, since this is the busy part of the year for many of us real estate agents! And frankly, I’m more of an AUTUMN and SPRING fan so the faster I get thru the HEAT of summer, the happier I am. How about you?
