Celebrate the holidays with your Folsom Lake Symphony and soprano Teri Bibb. “Season Celebration” promises to kindle your holiday spirit with a variety of music ranging from your traditional favorites “O Holy Night,” “Ave Maria” and “The Christmas Song,” to excerpts from The Nutcracker and Frozen. Additional treats include Alan Menken’s “There’s a Place Called Home” from A Christmas Carol, Maestro Peter Jaffe’s Symph-Hanukkah, John Finnegan’s Christmas Singalong and more. This is coming up in December but I thought you might want to know much earlier to be sure you can get the tickets which you can purchase by going to www.harriscenter.net/fls-season-celebration

ANOTHER HURRY SO YOU DON’T MISS IT – if you love quilts and quilting, don’t miss the Pioneer Quilters Guild Quilt Show in Roseville TOMORROW 11/13/22, just in time for your Christmas shopping! There will be hundreds of quilts on show for you to peruse, and if you get hungry, stay for lunch! “The Pioneer Quilters Guild is a non-profit organization dedicated to the growth and knowledge of quilting techniques, patterns and the history of quilt making.” They meet monthly, eleven months a year. JBF Holiday Shopping Fun is coming up this week at the Andy Morin Sports Complex in Folsom, 66 Clarksville Road, Folsom, CA   – November 18-20 at Just Between Friends! Also called JBF – this is a pop-up consignment event with infants and childrens’ toys, clothes, furniture, etc. that happens 2-3 times a year in Folsom and 2-3 times in Roseville. It’s been a family favorite for years and is great for parents AND grandparents to shop on a budget (you can sell too – but we haven’t done that here – one of my long-distance daughters does a great job with that as well, though and usually breaks even each year for her kids whole wardrobe – VERY AWESOME!) You can get in free on Friday and Saturday with preregistration, which they would greatly appreciate. Or you can pay to get in early on Thursday and early on Friday for the best choices (vital if you are looking for an uber popular item). Plus they have some other special pricing options. Go to https://folsom.jbfsale.com/index for more details.
