Happy Almost Thanksgiving 2023!!!
This is the weekend before Thanksgiving . And it was SUPPOSED to be the day of the Roseville Parade – the 62nd Annual Sylvia Besana Parade to be exact. BUT it RAINED today! NOT that we are complaining. We are officially FULLY OUT of the DROUGHT and VERY happy about that and VERY happy for early rain to KEEP us OUT of the DROUGHT. 😀 (I’m not excited, am I? ) And happily, our awesome weather people gave us plenty of notice and our wise parade people in the City of Roseville already had a backup day planned, just in case. SOOOO the parade will (hopefully) go on as planned on December 16, 2023 instead. PLUS we STILL have fun holiday things to do in Roseville CA area this week of 11-18-23 and beyond!
Let’s Talk Turkey
THE TURKEY TROT is coming THIS THURSDAY (which just HAPPENS to be Thanksgiving 😁). It is all sold out. But if you are already registered don’t forget to pick up your packet on Tuesday or Wednesday – click here for full details. THEN come out to Downtown Roseville to the Vernon Street Town Square for the 11th annual Roseville Turkey Trot on Thursday November 23rd no later than 8:15 for parking and the big start! And don’t forget to bring cans of imperishable food to help others. 😁 Sounds like an AWESOME start to a GREAT day!
Happy Holiday Happenings
As I mentioned last week, when sharing many happy holiday happenings – that’s not all! Here’s a new update from Parks, Rec, and Libraries:
In the fall PRL schedule, which you can download at Roseville.ca.us/ExperiencePRL you can find all the holiday happenings on Pages 7-9 (going by the page numbers in the booklet NOT the page numbers at the top of the screen) but also be sure to check through the whole booklet. They have many classes for kids that are holiday-related scattered throughout the book, like Winter Wonderland Engineering With LEGO. 😊 Also holiday art factory classes like Holly, Jolly Christmas.
