Super Bowl, Pickleball and More
It’s Super Bowl Weekend for February 2021! For many, one of the fun things to do in Roseville CA tomorrow will be watching the Super Bowl. My grandkids will be rooting with their dads and moms for their favorite teams while munching yummy yummies all the while. I, on the other hand, will be cuddling with one of my sweet granddogs while working on real estate projects and enjoying my yummy fudgey frozen yogurt that tastes so good and is SO good for my healthy diet. And we’ll all have a lovely weekend! 🙂
As you can probably tell, I’m not a super sports fan. I do enjoy tennis and, one of these days, I really am going to give Pickleball a try. It looks like a lot of fun. One dear friend assures me it really is an enjoyable way to get some healthy exercise. And it’s definitely become of the fun things to do in Roseville CA as we now have several Pickleball courts all around the town. Even some of our excellent 55 communities in Roseville CA and the surrounding area offer Pickleball and/or tennis – including Sun City Roseville, Lennar’s Heritage Solaire, and Sun City Lincoln! (Yet another great reason to retire in Roseville CA.) Depending on the size of your driveway, you might even be able to make your own court in your driveway! (I’d list more parks with Pickleball courts but the City of Roseville website has been down for a few days so I can’t. (See below for more info on that )
In the meantime, even though I’m not a big football fan, I do love using sports to encourage my cute grandkids in positive sportsmanship. Hence my latest coloring page for my local grands.
Valentine’s Day February 2021!
And wow! Can you believe it’s only a week until Valentine’s Day February 2021? Have you made any plans for it yet? One of my fave and fun things to do in Roseville for Valentine’s Day is to share the cute heart-shaped pizzas. They go great with grandkid visits but are yummy even if you’re home alone. Pizza Guys has them all month long and there is one at Foothills and Pleasant Grove in Roseville CA – Roseville, CA (Roseville) / 7451 Foothills Blvd Suite 120, Roseville, CA 95678 / (916) 773-5555
Also, I checked last week and Papa Murphy’s is doing heart shaped pizzas again as well – the person I talked to wasn’t sure what days so call first and ask. I’m thinking that would make a fun lunch idea when my grandkids come over – what do you think? 😃

If you guessed that it’s a Tupperware storage container – DING DING DING – you are RIGHT! And wow! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a Tupperware party! They have a LOT of interesting and new Tupperware containers including some awesome ones for cooking in the microwave! Per her Tupperware catalog – the cool Tupperware storage container sitting in my Roseville CA fridge is officially called a Fridgesmart Medium Deep (Page 50). The description states, “Our superior venting system controls airflow and moisture to help keep your fruits and veggies fresh in the fridge.” And it works. My celery is now lasting twice as long and my carrots are lasting great too! AND we all had fun at her online Tupperware Party – definitely a Win-Win-Win! 🙂

One More Holiday in February 2021
Well, it’s really TWO holidays rolled into one for February 2021. We will be celebrating the birthdays and honoring the memories of President George Washington and President Abraham Lincoln on February 15, 2021. I am guessing many of the state and federal offices will be closed. I would tell you to check the City of Roseville’s website but they are currently down and have been for a few days. They have posted on Facebook some options for billpaying, etc.
