Eating Out In Restaurants Open on Christmas Day

Tis the season to enjoy good friends, good times, and good food in Roseville and Sacramento and beyond! That good food may be in your own home, a friend’s home, at a business party, or at a restaurant. Most of the month. But what about Christmas Eve and Christmas Day? While most people don’t choose to go to a restaurant on such a major holiday, some do. When we were visiting a loved one who lived half a state away, we used to eat out when we could find any restaurants open Christmas Day. Due to a variety of circumstances, it was the best option when we got together. He loved the visits AND the eating out. But not many places were open on Christmas. There are more now, but the choice is still slim.

In case any of you are considering that as an option, I thought I’d share some restaurants open Christmas Day 2015 (and info about Christmas Eve too) that I have found here in the Roseville Rocklin CA area. If I spotted special coupons and gift card options, I added those as well. (Please note, the reward gift cards often have a short expiration date ranging from a month to 6 months. Doublecheck all dates carefully.) 🙂

• Christmas Day – 6am-1am BUT even though I called them to verify their hours, per their website, I would call again before going

Doublechecking is Always Wise on Holidays

For that matter, some of the above restaurants open Christmas Day are accepting reservations. I did call all these places, but things can change. When it is for something “outside the box” like Christmas Day, I would still suggest you call and confirm the times, check on reservations, etc. and do so as early as possible.  🙂

Also, I discovered an interesting tidbit of information for you. While calling for this article, I found that various restaurants had different hours for different locations. For example, the Claim Jumper in Sacramento is NOT open on Christmas Day. And as you can see, the Chevy’s in Roseville has slightly different hours from the Chevy’s in Rocklin.

They had some coupons on their website today including for a free drink. 🙂
