HAPPY MAY DAY!!!!
Time for the Roseville California News Update 4-30-23. WOW! Isn’t this year ZOOMING!
YOSEMITE UPDATE
You may have heard about Yosemite closing due to possible weather-related problems?
According to their website, they are back fully open today – tho I would call first if going there 🙂
OUR FAVORITE AREA VISITORS
Sacramento’s Sheep and Goats are BAAA-AACKK. I spotted this video about them and thought you would enjoy it as well. AND it made me wonder….
…what about our Roseville goats. And GUESS WHAT!!! They, too, are BAAAA-AAAACCCCKKKKKKK!
For that matter, so is our awesome Roseville Goat Tracker. Here’s a shortcut link to it – KayeSwain.com/goat-tracker. As you can see by the map below, it looks like they are currently north of Hayden Parkway and west of Fiddyment!
Rocklin’s goats are also back AND they have a goat grazing tracker too! You can check it out at KayeSwain.com/Rocklin-goat-map (Though that was taken on Saturday, April 29, so you should just head straight for the goat tracker to figure out where they are TODAY. 😊)
And wow! Lincoln uses BOTH goats AND sheep. And they start sooner than Roseville! According to their webpage on the goat and sheep grazing to keep the open space preserves “mowed down” nicely, “Grazing begins as early as January, and finishes by the end of June. Weather conditions determine when grazing begins and ends each year.”
