Sacramento Roseville Area Quilt Shows Happenings in 2023-2024
It’s time for some awesome Quilt Happenings in our whole area. The River City Quilters Guild is having their annual quilt show in TWO weeks!!! If you like quilts and quilting OR needle art in general OR love to win awesome prizes like a featherweight sewing machine OR a gorgeous quilt OR one of several FABULOUS baskets of goodies of all kinds, you will LOVE this show ! (I should know – since a I have a dear friend who is a member there and I have enjoyed visiting this show as well as our Roseville quilt show hosted by the Roseville Quilters Guild many times – and I have even won one or two of those GORGEOUS baskets in the past from each show! They are GREAT! (The above photo is of a gorgeous quilt created by a dear friend of mine! )
Sunday: 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.

And that’s not ALL the quilting news. While researching for this post, I looked up the other quilt shows coming to our area and here’s a handy dandy list for you for the next few months:
- The Pioneer Quilters Guild will host their Quilt Show November 10-11, 2023 at Mahany Fitness Center.
- The Folsom Quilt Show will be coming up on February 2-4, 2024 – click here for details.
- The Roseville Quilters Guild will host their quilt show, “Quilting Dreams,” May 17-18, 2024. Check their website for more detailed information as the year progresses.
AND one more piece of quilting news, that I am adding to this post the day after I wrote it, in honor of today, 9/11/23. Did you know there have been many QUILTS created in honor of many of those who suffered and/or died in 9/11 and their families. Here are two great examples from my latest posts at Facebook.com/KayeSwainRE:

Placer County Safety Warning Happenings
Click here if you’d also like to help our Placer County DA keep our area safer :
And contrary to what I first thought it said, they would LOVE it if we would call beyond our 3 Placer county legislators (who DO support our efforts on this). This is NOT a political announcement, this is a safety announcement as I keep reading comments from so many about being worried about safety in our area. If you are, this is something you can proactively do from your home to help keep our area happenings HAPPY !
Have a GREAT Week!
