Enjoying Summer Weather in Roseville California Today
I just returned from taking some goodies to my client’s gorgeous new Sun City Lincoln home that closed this week in preparation for her soon arrival.
I also popped into Sam’s Club and Walmart. And I am here to tell you, summer weather in Roseville California is here TODAY! Now Monday might be a slightly different story. Today the high temperature is 89 and Monday it’s only supposed to be 76.
Come the first actual day of summer 2023, it is supposed to be 85! But Thursday it may only be 79. Hmmmm – yoyo weather? 😀
I remember lots of years when it was much hotter than this. I also have been listening to our local news channel discussing how surprised they are we haven’t had any 100 degree days (oyyyy I remember some of those early summer days too. )
But so far, our weather in Roseville CA is behaving quite nicely, I think! How about you?
Enjoying Summer Fun Things to Do in Roseville Area
Both the summer weather in Roseville California AND the calendar are full of fun reminders of the past and hints to come of fun things to do in Roseville and the surrounding area this year! For example:
June 22 – June 25 will be the Placer County Fair, also @The Grounds (Placer County Fairgrounds). Hours of fair: Thursday-Saturday 5 pm-11 pm & Sunday 12 pm – 11 pm
June is also full of big truck fun – with Big Trucks Summer every Thursday from 9-11 am at Mahany Park. (Mahany Park also has their year round Farmer’s Market every Sunday).
Roseville’s Downtown Tuesday Nights including concerts is also back. Per their Facebook page, “Downtown Tuesday Nights is back! Every Tuesday in June & July, except 7/4, 5:30-9pm on Vernon St in Downtown Roseville. It’s awesome! Two stages, awesome car show, food galore, craft/art vendors, services, kids zone, downtown shops & restaurants, and the main stage at the Vernon Street Town Square has an incredible band from 7p-9p.” Click here for details.
Fountains Fridays Summer Concerts have started. Click here for their schedule. And by the way, their year round Farmer’s Markets on Tuesdays are still going strong as well.

Fourth Of July Things to Do in Our Roseville CA Area
Independence Day – 4th of July! Our downtown Roseville parade (9-10 am at Vernon Town Square), Royer Park Fun (10-1 at Royer Park), and fireworks at the Placer Fairgrounds (@The Grounds) are all on the calendar. And the fireworks is a two-fer – check this out – “Come join all your neighbors and make new friends at the fireworks show! Sierra View County Club fireworks start at 9:15 pm and ours will follow. Grandstand is open and is “first come.” Concessions and cold drinks for all ages will be open. Time: Gates open at 4:00 pm Show starts at 9:30 pm!
Rocklin – Celebrate America Festival is earlier than the 4th, on July 1-2 at Twin Oaks Park, 5500 Park Drive, Rocklin, Gates Open at 4pm, Admission is FREE, This is scheduled to include a military tribute,  musical entertainment, food vendors, a lineup of fun, and FIREWORKS!

The Spray Grounds are officially open in 3 of our Roseville Parks (Vernon Street Town Square, Crabb Park & Luken Park (mister)) for 2023:
- 10am-8pm on weekends only*, May 1 through Memorial Day
- 10am-8pm daily*, Memorial Day through Labor Day
- 10am-7pm daily*, Labor Day – September 30*Hours are subject to change due to special events or unplanned maintenance needs.
