Roseville CA is such great town! Warm and welcoming! It’s a city that embraces its small town roots with fun holiday parades at Christmas and Independence Day. Not to mention plenty of other sparkling patriotic activities for young and old. In addition it continues to move forward with fun new recreational options like indoor and outdoor swimming pools. They offer the fairly new and state-of-the-art Mike Shellito indoor swimming pool facility. There are many other parks as well. And my family really appreciates all the great park options that include accessible fun for all ages. And oh my, the grand bike and hiking and walking trails that wend their way throughout this lovely town!

So many fun things to do in Roseville

There are fun things that, while oldie goldies, my grandkids love as well – like the great skateboarding joys at Maidu Park!

They even have skateboard classes! You can find those in their park and recreation booklet. Don’t forget the many other fun youth sports options like:

  • Little League,
  • Soccer
  • Football
  • Cheer
  • Baseball
  • YES, there are adult sports teams too!

Then there are plenty of new and intriguing options. These also offer fun activities for all ages. One is the Roseville Utility Exploration Center. Check out these offerings:

  • Water Efficient gardens, mulching, and more
  • Fun Summer camps including repurposing electronics to make fun new gizmos and BIG truck story time – my youngest grandkids would LOVE that!
  • Here’s one I’m downloading for my grandkids – comic books from the Planet Savers page

Not content to rest on their laurels, there are plenty of interesting and exciting plans for the future as well, including

  • Bike trail additions and repairs
  • New pedestrian path
  • New and repaired bridges for walking trails
  • And more!

Room for growth in Roseville from historic old houses to new construction homes

There is also plenty of room for growth here to entice all ages. Lovely brand new homes joining existing housing like the historic old homes near Downtown Roseville, single story homes with great aging in place options and roomy two-story homes – many of which offer great multigenerational options

Aging in place options are vital

As a caregiver/overseer to sweet senior relatives near and far, I especially appreciate seeing so many builders – new and older – taking aging in place into consideration. They help make Roseville a terrific place for my whole family, from young grandkids to aging seniors.

Whatever your activity interests or home needs, you’ll most likely find great choices for both here in Roseville CA, full of great activities and great joys.

P.S. See you out there on the walking, biking and hiking trails in Roseville CA ! 🙂
