My senior mom is busy prepping all the Valentines she loves to send her grandkids and great-grandkids. I’m having fun picking out online Valentine greetings. And I thought I’d share some fun recipes, decor ideas, kid and grandkid fun and some interesting and tasty options in Roseville CA and the surrounding Sacramento area and more! Enjoy. And HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY.

Valentines Day Home and Table Decor

Do you enjoy decorating for all sorts of holidays, not just Christmas? Here are some fun ideas, like this simple but pretty in pink table setting.

Lovely ideas for your fireplace mantel or other shelves in your home.

I thoroughly enjoy the home tours from Between Naps on the Porch and hope you do as well. She has many lovely and unique ideas for Valentines Day home decor. click here for a lovely bedroom tour and delightful ideas for tea in bed, that could easily be changed to breakfast in bed. 🙂 And click here for an adorable tablescape idea that easily morphs from one holiday to the next with a few adjustments. She used a Vintage Copeland Spode that is quite beautiful. Last but definitely not least, this tablescape will put a smile on the faces of kids, grandkids, and even grandparents. A very cute Alice In Wonderland / Queen Of Hearts decor.  Her’s is lovely and intricate. But you can also set a simpler table with dramatic colors for a lovely effect, like this:

Simple home decor can be so lovely as it goes great with so many decors. It makes such a great backdrop for a splash of color at the holidays. Here is a home decor that is black and white and it looks great as well with all these lovely holiday ideas.

For those who enjoy the vintage, romantic, country style of home decor, Penny’s Treasures has some pretty in pink ideas including a decorated Valentine tree.

While here are a couple of posts with a more neutral take on Valentine home decor from Home Accessories and About DIY.

And, as you can imagine, How Sweet the Sound has lots of lovely Valentine ideas for Pink Saturday.

This belongs in Valentines Day home decor AND cute crafts for young and old so I’m putting it last in one and kind of first in the other as it has both and is from one of my faves – Tip Junkie.

Isn’t this a toad-ally cute idea (below) at my G+ page shared by Frugal Fun For Boys. These cute cards with frogs and toads and cute sayings that play on the word TOAD-ally really made me smile and I know they’ll put grins on my grandkids faces as well!

Click here for Easy Creative and Free Valentine Ideas to enjoy with our kids and grandkids that is a “blast from my past” and full of fun ideas.

You can enjoy a fun Valentine Party outside like this sweet pup if the weather cooperates, with bubbles, cookies, cupcakes and more. Or if the weather didn’t listen to the groundhog and it’s a bit chilly (windy, rainy, snowy….), have a fun time inside with a picnic on the floor complete with big blanket. Bubbles work well there too. 😉

The event is called I Heart Sacramento Zoo and it’s on Sunday, February 14, 2016 from 9 am to 4 pm.
